Aeroshell Grease 22
Mobil Grease 28

This is a lightweight instrument oil, and is often substituted with LPS-2 by many mechanics.
LPS-2 only meets Mil. specs for corrosion control, not lubrication.
The updated Mil Spec is MIL-PRF-7870C This is met by -
Aeroshell Fluid 3
Royco 363
The above two are sold as liquids and are applied by brush or an oil can spout.
It is also made by Zip-Chem (part number D-5261NS) as an aerosol which is much easier to apply.
Manual Reference - MIL-G-25760
This spec. is met by -

Aeroshell Grease 22
Mobil Grease 28
In the Grumman Manual, this grease is only called out for the wheel bearings. The updated (April, 2007) Cleveland brake/Wheel Service Manual now calls out for Mobil Aviation Grease SHC 100 as the preferred grease. The manual does allow "Other Approved Greases" though, so the Aeroshell 16 or 22 are acceptable.
